The Office of Public Utility Counsel’s Annual Meeting will be on November 3rd, 2025 at 7:00PM (CT) at the McKenzie-Merket Alumni Center Ballroom at Texas Tech University. Confirmed speakers include representatives from the City of Lubbock, NRG, and the Public Utilities Commission. Those who attend will hear presentations about what OPUC is; how OPUC has advocated on behalf of residential and smaller commercial consumers, as a class, in utility proceedings; the different elements of electricity, water, and wastewater bills; how to navigate the Power to Choose website; available resources for those needing assistance with utility related issues; and other related topics.
The meeting is open to the public, and attendees will have the opportunity to provide public comments and ask questions during the meeting. You may attend, in-person, online, or by telephone.
